The initiative was developed in response to the provision of comprehensive logistics services within the Port of Gdynia, which are provided by specialized companies, in particular:
- Port of Gdynia Authority: as a state administration body and owner of the port infrastructure.
- BCT Gdynia: as the exclusive operator of the transshipment terminal responsible for the direct handling of ships, cargo, stevedoring services, and storage yards.
- IM Solutions: as a provider of complementary services, in particular line haul, veterinary cleaning, disinfection, temporary office space, accommodation, and other non-typical request during operations.
Thanks to the combination of the competence of the above companies and the port infrastructure, we provide a comprehensive service for military cargo unique in Europe.

Port of Gdynia is a rapidly developing Polish conveniently located in the South Baltic Sea Region.
BCT – Baltic Container Terminal in the Port of Gdynia is one of the largest container and multi-purpose terminals in the Baltic Sea area.

The Port of Gdynia is an important link in the European transport network, connecting Poland with Sweden via the Gdynia-Karlskrona Maritime Motorway. The Port of Gdynia has modern terminals that specialize in handling general cargo, particularly containers, and the ro-ro system. Currently, the Outer Port project is being implemented to service Baltmax container ships, and it is scheduled for completion in 2029. The Port of Gdynia is a strategically important military hub in Poland, fully integrated into NATO structures. It is located near several key Polish military installations, including the main Polish Navy port and naval shipyard. As a result, some terminal operators and logistics firms within the Port nave developed specialized capabilities in NATO military logistics solutions. These services cover the deployment and redeployment of military equipment, logistics support for transportation to and from the port, operational maintenance of NATO assets and personnel, and logistical missions within the Port, including soldier accommodations and operations.
Since 2018, BCT has been providing a wide range of handling and stevedoring services for military logistics, including:
- 800 m berth facility with a depth of 12.7 -14.5 metres,
- Rail terminal with three 670m long tracks capable of accommodating full trains,
- Staging areas of over 80,000 square metres within the port perimeter,
- Specialized set of port equipment including ship-to-shore gantries, railmounted gantries, mobile harbour cranes, reachstackers, heavy forklifts and prime movers, portable ramps up to 100 tons,
- Special tailored equipment such as expansion beams, towing connectors, extra sling sets, etc. created upon the specific requirements for military logistics,
- A skilled and certified team of stevedores, lashers, wheel and track vehicle drivers, and equipment operators, all experienced in the number of past military missions performed at the Port of Gdynia.
Since 2018, IM Solutions is offering cleanig, disinfection, and cargo preparation services to NATO militaries. Company’s services are available at Palish ports during vessel loading operations and at any other locations on land, as requested by the client. Own wash facility, located at the Part of Gdynia just outside the Baltic Container Terminal, offers cleaning services for vehicles and equipment of any structure.
